築150年の古民家が誇る、巨大な丸太梁が空間を横切る圧倒的な景観。古い紙の痕跡を残す壁や、木の一枚板のテーブルとともに、時の重みが宿る空間が広がります。この迫力こそが、椎の間が「侘寂の最高峰」と称される理由です。
A mammoth log beam from this 150-year-old machiya sweeps across the room. Together with a wall that still bears traces of old paper and a table made from a single slab of wood, the space carries the weight of time. This is why Shiinoma is called the pinnacle of wabi-sabi.
